- Original Artwork: Order FAQs
The upper two-thirds of this painting are dense and dark, layers of deep blue pressing down, built up with heavy texture and shot through with copper paint that surfaces like something trying to breathe. Below, separated by a thin copper-toned line, soft blue-white clouds billow upward as if trying to lift what sits above.
This is the painting of carrying everything at once. Not just one hard thing, but all of it. The grief and the worry and the logistics and the love and the exhaustion and the ordinary weight of a life still going on around the hardest parts. The copper edge between the two worlds is the line I keep holding. The clouds below are what I reach for.
Part of the "What Today Will Bring" collection, "The Weight of It All" brings a quiet emotional depth and real physical texture to any space it inhabits.

What Today Will Bring
This collection came from somewhere I wasn't expecting to go. Someone I love is struggling with mental illness, and these paintings are not their story. They are mine. The hope I carry into each morning. The anger I swallow. The weight that presses down from every direction. The moments, rare and fleeting, where I catch a glimpse of the person I'm fighting to stay close to.
Using color and texture as my language, I painted my way through the full range of what it feels like to love someone through something this hard. The chaos and the stillness. The fire underneath and the quiet above. The fractures, and the small bright moments that make you keep going.
