Cosmic Realms: Abstract Surrealism

Collection: Cosmic Realms: Abstract Surrealism

I started this series by asking what would happen if I stopped trying to control where the painting went. Working with brush on canvas, I build forms that arc, spiral, and move with a sense of purpose. Ribbons of color that feel both expansive and intimate. The backgrounds glow. The forms emerge from them with a quiet inevitability. This is the series where I let myself be most unrestricted. There is no horizon line, no gravity, no fixed point of reference. Only energy finding its own direction. I think of these paintings as invitations to drift, to follow a line without knowing where it leads, and to find that the not-knowing is the point.
