This painting embodies a sense of depth and movement through a variety of shapes and forms against a captivating blue background. The gradient of blue hues, from lighter shades at the center to darker shades towards the edges, creates a serene atmospheric effect. Dominating the lower left area is a cluster of vertical and horizontal black marks, some solid and others with a sketch-like, linear quality, along with copper lines and small circular forms that add visual interest and contrast. The use of negative space and non-representational forms invites the viewer to interpret the artwork in a subjective manner, leaving the meaning open to personal interpretation. The minimalist and modern feel of the piece makes it an intriguing addition to any art collection.

A Journey Within: Atmospheric + Geometric
These paintings were born from a question I kept coming back to: what happens when structure meets something that refuses to be contained? Each piece in this series pairs a luminous brushwork background, built from sweeping layered strokes, with precise geometric structures rendered in black and copper. The atmospheric field moves. The geometry holds still. That conversation between flow and form, between feeling and structure, is the emotional core of the series. The copper elements are hand-applied and physically textured, catching light in ways that shift as you move through a room. They give the compositions a grounded quality that balances the energy of the painted backgrounds, and they look different every time the light changes.
